Why a custom-designed kitchen?

A designer kitchen is not just about choosing beautiful doors or a trendy countertop. It’s about thinking about the space for you: how you cook, if you like to entertain at home, if you have breakfast at the bar, if the kitchen opens to the living room or you prefer to have it more secluded, if there are many of you at home or you cook almost always alone.

As an interior design and architecture studio, we design custom kitchens so that:

Open kitchens allow you to integrate the cooking area with the life of the living room and dining room. We think about the layout so that everything is visually tidy, we take care of the hood and lighting, and we seek that the design dialogues with the rest of the home, without losing functionality.

Kitchens with island or peninsula

Kitchens with islands are perfect for cooking with company, having breakfast as a family, or receiving friends informally. We design the island so that it is not only an aesthetic gesture, but a useful piece: cooking area, sink, bar, extra storage…

Modern and minimalist kitchens

Clean lines, smooth fronts, integrated handles or push opening systems, neutral colors or well-chosen contrasts… Modern and minimalist kitchens seek to be timeless, easy to clean, and very pleasant to live in every day.

Our kitchen design and installation process: This is how we work on your designer kitchen

Designing a custom kitchen involves many decisions. Our process seeks to make everything clear and bearable, with constant communication with the Studio in each phase.

1. First conversation

You tell us what your current kitchen is like, what you like, what bothers you, and what you need to change. We talk about your approximate budget and your deadlines. From this first moment you will have direct contact with the Studio to resolve doubts and comment on ideas.

2. Measurement and analysis of the space

We take precise measurements, study the existing installations (plumbing, electricity, extraction duct), and analyze how the kitchen relates to the rest of the home. We keep you informed of what we are seeing and, if there are any constraints, we discuss them with you before making decisions.

3. Design proposal

We prepare a proposal for the distribution and design of your custom kitchen in Málaga, with a selection of materials, finishes, possible color combinations, and storage solutions. We review it with you, adjust what is necessary, and refine it until you feel that the proposal fits with what you were looking for. Here the exchange of plans, images, and comments is continuous.

4. Detailed budget

We present you with a detailed budget, where you can see what each item includes: furniture, countertop, appliances, lighting, possible masonry work or kitchen renovation, installation, etc. If you need to adapt any item, we talk about it and look for alternatives.

5. Coordination and installation

We take care of coordinating the installation of the kitchen and, if there is a renovation, of the necessary trades (electricity, plumbing, masonry…). During the work we inform you of the progress, the key dates, and any unforeseen events that may arise, to decide together how to resolve it.

6. Final review

At the end, we review the kitchen with you, check finishes and operation, and explain how to maintain the materials so that they are well preserved over time. It is time to adjust the last details and make sure that the result is exactly what you expected.

Kitchen and laundry room designed for a single-family home, conceived as a single functional and very bright space. It is a modern kitchen with an island, open to the living room, with a large area of high and low cabinets that integrate storage and appliances to maintain a clean and tidy image. The combination of white and wood reinforces the Nordic style that was sought in the project and makes the kitchen feel warm, spacious and very pleasant for day to day. Renovation, design and installation of kitchen – Gaudí Project, Málaga

Kitchen and laundry room designed for a single-family home in Málaga. It is a modern kitchen in white, with a central island and a large area of cabinets that solve all the storage while keeping the fronts as clean as possible: everything is integrated except for the main appliances.

It is an American kitchen, open to the living room, a trend that is increasingly present in current homes. What was once an isolated room, today becomes a cozy and spacious meeting space, where you can cook, chat and share moments with family and guests. The clean lines, the contrast of materials and the hidden storage solutions make this kitchen visually light, tidy and very functional in day to day.
